Landing at the right location will set you up for the entire match, as you’ll have everything you need, including powerful weapons, healing items, and building resources right from the start.

Best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix and why
Lazy Lake
The first spot I’d recommend landing at is Lazy Lake. This is because it’s one of the few locations in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix that you can loot quickly.
However, even though it’s not as large as some other locations on our list, it still has a good number of chests and vehicles. Plus, since it’s not a popular spot, you won’t have to worry about fighting other players right after landing.
But make sure to leave the area once you’re done looting, as other players will likely head to this location after exploring nearby POIs.
Slurpy Swamp
In Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix, Shields and other healing items are hard to come by. That’s why you need to make sure you have a few in your inventory at the start of each match.
For this, we recommend visiting Slurpy Swamps. This location has plenty of Shields and healing items, so you’ll be set for at least half of the match after looting here.
On top of that, this place also has a great number of Slurp Ponds, which will heal you as soon as you enter them. So, you can visit them later if you’re low on health and don’t have any healing items.

However, despite all the chaos, The Doggpound is one of the best loot spots in Fortnite, offering plenty of high-rarity weapons and other items.
On top of that, by defeating Snoop Dog, you’ll get his unique weapon and a keycard, which grants access to his vault filled with valuable items.
The Rig
The Rig is easily the best landing spot in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix right now. However, since this is a hot drop, we won’t recommend heading there right away.
Instead, you should first land at the spot near the Rig to gear up. You’ll find plenty of weapons, items, and building resources there. Once you’re ready, you can take the boat to the Rig.
By the time you reach the Rig, most players will have already eliminated each other. Just finish off the remaining few and start looting.
You’ll also come across the TNTina boss here, who will drop the Ka-Boom Bow and a vault Keycard once defeated. Use the Keycard to access her vault and acquire powerful items.
Once you’re done looting the Rig, you won’t need to visit another location again, as you’ll be fully equipped for the entire match, unless you were unable to find your favorite weapon there.
