The collaboration also brought many premium items and bundles for a limited time.
Among those additions is the iconic King Kong Battle Axe, which replaces the usual Pickaxe in Fortnite that many players want to get their hands on.

How to get Kongs Battle Axe
In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, you can get Kongs Battle Axe from the Item Shop for 800 V-Bucks.
You can get the 1000 V-Bucks pack for $8.99 if you don’t have the required V-Bucks.
Unfortunately, unlike the Crystal Fang, you cannot get the Battle Axe for free from the new Godzilla quest rewards.
The only way to get the item is via microtransaction. The item is available as a standalone and in the ‘Mechagodzilla & Kong Bundle.’
The latter costs a hefty 2,800 V-Bucks but also offers many items, including:

- Kong’s Battle Axe (Pickaxe)

When is Kongs Battle Axe leaving the Item Shop
The Battle Axe and other Godzilla collaboration items will leave the Item Shop on January 25, 2025, at 5:29 am local time (GMT+5).
Once the item is gone, there is no saying when it will return. So, if you are really looking forward to getting the item, make sure you do it before the item is gone.
