Epic Games has finally debuted in the 5v5 FPS genre with the launch of Fortnite Ballistic Mode. Similar to Valorant and CS2, it offers a wide range of weapons and utility items that you can use to shred your opponents.

However, not every weapon deserves your team’s economy, which is why it’s essentially to identify the best firearms in the game. Therefore, we’ll walk you through our Fortnite Ballistic weapons tier list, ranking all the guns from best to worst.

Fortnite Ballistic has a total of nine weapons as of writing this article that are further divided into five categories—Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Pistol, Sniper Rifle and SMG. Here’s a quick look at the tier list:

  • S-Tier: Enforcer AR, Nemesis AR, Reaper Sniper Rifle
  • A-Tier: Frenzy Auto Shotgun, Striker AR, Hyper SMG
  • B-Tier: Hammer Pump Shotgun, Thunder Burst SMG
  • C-Tier: Hand Cannon

Although we highly recommend using S-Tier weapons, A-Tier guns can also be effective depending on your playstyle and the situation. On the other hand, we recommend staying away from the B-Tier and C-Tier firearms due to their numerous drawbacks. That said, they can still be useful in save rounds thanks to their low cost.

Enforcer AR

The Enforcer is the fully automatic assault rifle, which is one of the best weapons that Fortnite Ballistic has to offer. Not only does it offer the highest damage output per shot among all other assault rifles, but it’s also the cheapest option in its category. However, keep in mind that the Enforcer AR has a very poor fire rate, which means it’s best to use it as a one-tap machine rather than continuously firing the weapon.

Frenzy Shotgun

If you’re someone who loves to hold close-range angles and play sneaky, the Frenzy Shotgun is definitely a great pick for you. It’s a fast-firing shotgun that’s great at short range, which you can definitely use to surprise your enemies. However, we don’t suggest using this weapon on the attackers’ team because you’ll find yourself in medium to long-range situations most of the time.

  • Damage: 68
  • Magazine Size: 8
  • Fire Rate: 2.75
  • Reload Time: 3.7s
