For the second consecutive year, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup — MSC 2025 — takes place in Riyadh this summer as part of the Esports World Cup.

The prestigious tournament will gather the globe’s elite MLBB teams, battling for a USD$3 million prize pool.

A Wildcard tournament precedes MSC, taking place at the EWC Festival, offering teams one last chance to secure a coveted spot in the main event.

The action kicks off with the Wildcard tournament, running from July 10 to 13.

Following this preliminary stage, the Main Event takes place from July 23 to August 2.

A total of 16 teams will compete in the Main Event. The tournament is divided into two phases:

  • Group Stage: Sixteen teams will be split into two groups of eight teams each. They battle through a double-elimination bracket.
  • Finals: The top-performing teams from the Group Stage advance to the Finals. This stage features eight teams competing in a high-stakes single-elimination bracket.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) boasts a total prize pool of USD$3 million.

Beyond the team winnings, an individual player will also be recognized for their outstanding performance. The tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) receives an additional USD$10,000 bonus, highlighting their exceptional talent and contribution to their team’s success.

What happened during MSC 2024 at the Esports World Cup

The MSC 2024 tournament saw Malaysia’s Selangor Red Giants securing the championship title, overcoming Falcons AP.Bren in the Grand Finals.

Despite being considered favorites entering the Grand Final, Falcons AP.Bren were ultimately defeated by Selangor Red Giants. Decisive plays from Selangor Red Giants’ jungler, Muhammad Haqqullah “Sekys” Ahmad Shahrul Zaman, proved impactful.

The series concluded with a 4-3 victory for Selangor Red Giants, extending to the full seven games and delivering a highly competitive final at the EWC.

Both teams demonstrated strong performances throughout the competition, each losing only one game on their respective paths to the Grand Finals. Selangor Red Giants advanced through the playoffs with victories over Fire Flux Esports and NIP Flash.

Fans can look forward to MLBB’s continued presence at the Esports World Cup, as it’s confirmed to be a featured title in the 2026 edition as well.
