Witchfire is a first-person shooter game set in a dark fantasy world. The gameplay features fast-paced shooting mechanics with a bit of sorcery and magic.
All Witchfire classes (Preyers)
Witchfire offers six starting classes called Preyer, each with unique traits and starting equipment. In this ONE Esports article, we provide a comprehensive list of all the playable classes in the game.
All classes in Witchfire — Witchfire Preyers
The combat system emphasizes the use of both firearms and magic, allowing players to engage enemies using a variety of spells and weapons, adapting to different situations.
The player takes on the role of a witch hunter. Choosing the right class that suits your playstyle and habits is important to survive the cursed landscapes filled with supernatural enemies.
Butcher
Strong, heals quickly, has the stamina of a much younger man. Fearless in battle, what lesser men mistake for anger and rashness.
This class focuses on offensive capabilities, starting with high Vitality, Healing, and Endurance. The Butcher is equipped with the Midas and Bittersweet Nightshade, which release shockwaves when your health reaches a certain low percentage.
Hunter
A cunning fighter with a steady hand and no ego. The mission is the only thing that matters, everything else is a mere distraction.
Hunter is a balanced class that excels in damage and survivability. The Hunter begins with high Healing and Endurance stats, along with a Metanoia stat that boosts experience gains. The Auto Rifle’s bullets ricochets, and the Painted Tooth relic ignites enemies on critical hits.
Slayer
Finds twisted delight in wielding witchcraft to dispatch the witch-made abominations. Agile, with a talent for close-range combat.
Focused on ranged spells rather than close combat, the Slayer has high Witchery, Endurance, and Luck stats. They start with the Cricket gun and Lightning Bolt, making them effective at distance but requiring careful management of their abilities.
Shadow
Respects witch magic enough to avoid unnecessary risks. Why slit throats when a bullet from the shadow achieves the same end?
Shadow is a long-range, stealth heavy class. This Preyer has high Witchery and Metanoia stats, which lets you improve your magical abilities a bit quicker. The All-Seeing Eye gear deals critical damage to enemies within its range, while Shockwave aids in escape from tight situations.
Saint
An avid student of the Fates. For as Publilius Syrus noted, against a lucky man even gods are powerless.
This class relies heavily on Luck, which influences loot drops throughout the game. Starting with four pieces of gear, the Saint has abilities for offensive and defensive strategies, like creating ice spheres and inflicting decay on attackers.
Penitent
A haunted man, cursed by his past and oblivious to the shadows looming in his future.
The developers of the game left a Warning for this Preyer stating that it is Not recommended for beginners.
Starting at level 1, using this Preyer is considered a hard mode, the Penitent focuses on gaining experience, with Metanoia being their primary strength. They start with only one piece of gear, rewarding precise shots, making every shot count in their gameplay.
That concludes our guide on the Witchfire classes.
