Originally debuting in Marvel Comics #1, Johnny Storm, better known as the Human Torch, is blazing his way into Marvel Rivals as a core member of the iconic Fantastic Four. This has already been confirmed in the official Fantastic Four trailer, but when is the Human Torch release date?
When is the Human Torch release date?
The Human Torch is set to be released during the mid-season of Marvel Rivals Season 1. Since each season is approximately 14 weeks long and split into two, fans can expect the fiery hero to become playable in February.
The first half of Season 1 introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman to the starting lineup of Marvel Rivals, but two key members of the Fantastic Four are still absent. However, recent leaks reveal that NetEase is gearing up to release Human Torch and The Thing soon. Both heroes are expected to debut together in the second half of the season, likely between February 22 and 28.
The abilities of the Human Torch remain officially under wraps, but leaks suggest he will be a three-star Duelist with an AoE-focused toolkit capable of dealing devastating close-range damage. According to the leaks, the Human Torch will synergize exceptionally well with Storm, combining their powers to create a fiery hurricane that wreaks havoc on enemies.
Whether players choose him for his abilities or not, those who like flashy characters will definitely enjoy Human Torch’s fiery avatar.
