Celebrate Christmas early with the Venusaur drop event!
Pokemon TCG Pocket is back with its second exciting drop event, this time spotlighting the iconic Kanto grass starter, Venusaur. Featuring stunning full art, this Venusaur card, though not an EX, is a must-have for any collector.
Along with the stunning new Venusaur promo card, there are four additional promo cards and plenty of rewards waiting to be collected.

Venusaur drop event release date
The Venusaur drop event runs for two weeks starting from November 29 to December 13, 2024.
Venusaur drop event promo cards
Just like the Lapras EX event, the Venusaur drop event features five exclusive cards that players can collect. Promo packs are awarded to players who manage to beat the event exclusive solo battles.
The event cards and the odds of pulling them from the promo pack are as follows:
- Venusaur (12.66%)
- Greninja (15.82%)
- Haunter (23.84%)
- Onix (23.84%)
- Jigglypuff (23.84%)
While Venusaur, Greninja, and Onix sport fresh new alternative art, Jigglypuff and Haunter debut both new attacks and stunning artwork.
Venusaur drop event solo battles
Test your skills in these grass-themed solo battles featuring the mighty Venusaur line. Progress through four increasing levels of difficulty, each with a distinctive challenge. Unlock the next trial by beating the current one.
Clear a stage for the very first time and be rewarded with Pack Hourglasses, Shinedust, Shop Tickets, and experience points to level up your account.
Players also have a chance at bonus rewards (including a promo pack) depending on the difficulty of the level beaten. So don’t be afraid to repeat these solo battles to farm promo packs.
