There’s an incredibly quick, easy, and consistent way to farm metal scraps in Enshrouded, a survival action-RPG game that has already sold 1 million copies since its launch on January 25th.
It was released during the same time as Palworld, another survival RPG inspired by Pokemon, which has been setting records in sales and the number of concurrent players on Steam.
Metal scraps in Enshrouded are crucial early in the game because you need them to build a Forge, as well as other items needed for survival.
The Forge also allows you to forge metal scraps into metal sheets, which are essential for crafting weapons and armor necessary for your progress in the game.

The quick, easy and consistent way to farm metal scraps in Enshrouded
To farm metal scraps in Enshrouded, simply follow these steps:
- Go to Cinder Vault.
- Head south to the pods where you first started the game.
- Smash the pods with a pickaxe to collect metal scraps.
Head over to Cinder Vault
Cinder Vault might be familiar to you as the location where you began your journey in the game, spawning from a pod before setting out into the world.
To get to Cinder Vault, open the map (default “M”), find Cinder Vault, and select “Fast Travel.”
Once you’ve arrived, head South to the room where you first spawned. There, you’ll find a row of pods on both sides of the room.
Smash the metal pods with a pickaxe for metal scrap
In Enshrouded, you can pretty much smash everything with an axe, pickaxe or even a weapon to get some materials.
These pods, from which you first spawned, drop three metal scraps each.
In order to do that, get closer to the pods and start hitting them with your pickaxe, the same one you use to mine stone and ores.
The only downside of farming pods is that you need to hit them for a while because of their high HP.
For each trip, you should be able to smash three or four pods before you need to head back to base to repair your pickaxe.
Pods respawn over time
Currently, anything outside of your Flame Altar’s zone respawns after a short period of time or when you relog, which means you can farm these metal scraps over and over again.
This is a great way to farm metal scraps in Enshrouded at the beginning of the game and help get off to a strong start!
