All you need to know about Rainbow Six Siege X Dual Front 6v6 game mode

In Dual Front, players aim to secure three enemy sectors while defending their own on the new map, District.
The mode features a curated roster of 35 operators, allowing for mixed Attacker and Defender teams.
Players can participate in time-limited assignments within the Neutral Sector to earn in-game rewards. These assignments can influence the match’s outcome but require strategic consideration, as they may expose vulnerable positions.
Dual Front includes respawning and operator repicking for tactical adjustments, designed to be accessible for both new and existing players.
The mode will be updated regularly, with the operator roster rotating twice per season and Neutral Sector assignments changing each season.
Rainbow Six Siege X packs major visual updates to existing maps

At launch, Clubhouse, Chalet, Border, Bank, and Kafe will receive enhancements, with three additional maps being modernized each season. The update also introduces gameplay changes intended to enhance the game’s tactical depth.
New environmental interactions, such as destructible fire extinguishers, gas pipes, and metal detectors, will provide players with additional strategic options.
Rappel navigation will be improved with more fluid controls, allowing for horizontal movement and corner jumps.
The audio system will be overhauled, with changes to audio propagation and reverberation, to improve player awareness of enemy locations.
The onboarding process for new players will be redesigned, including tutorials and field training. A communication wheel will be added to facilitate team communication.
The Pick and Ban system will also be updated, featuring simultaneous banning each round, to streamline the process and introduce a new strategic layer for teams.
Anti-cheat system included in Rainbow Six Siege X

R6 ShieldGuard is a comprehensive anti-cheat system included in the Rainbow Six Siege X update.
R6 ShieldGuard will consolidate existing anti-cheat measures and implement new technologies to protect the game. This includes live security updates, which will be applied without scheduled maintenance, designed to hinder cheat development.
The update also includes ongoing development of player protection features, such as improvements to the reputation system to address toxicity.
Rainbow Six Siege X promises to be more friendly to new players

Rainbow Six Siege will offer free access to new players, including Dual Front, Unranked, and Quick Play modes, with the opportunity to unlock up to 26 operators through gameplay progression.
Players who upgrade to premium editions gain access to Ranked Mode and the Siege Cup upon reaching level 50. These editions will also provide immediate access to a larger selection of operators.
Existing players will retain all previously unlocked content, including operators, inventory, and progression. Additionally, they will receive veteran rewards based on their join date.
