This year’s Destiny 2’s The Dawning event has brought back the Solar machine gun Avalanche.

Avalanche is an Adaptive Frame machine gun that can drop with some unique and powerful perk combinations, like Rewind Rounds and Incandescent.

If you missed out on Avalanche in last year’s Dawning event or simply looking to procure a fresh roll, you’re in the right place.

This ONE Esports guide explains Avalanche god roll in Destiny 2 for both PvE and PvP.

Trait 1Rewind Rounds: When this weapon’s magazine is empty, it refills from reserves based on the number of hits.
Trait 2Incandescent: Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.
Or,
Target Lock: Damage increases the longer this weapon stays on a target.
MasterworkStability
Origin TraitSuros Energy: Reloading grants this weapon bonus handling and reduces incoming flinch for a short time.

In the third and fourth columns, Rewind Rounds pairs well with Incandescent. My biggest issue with machine guns is their slow reload time, and Rewind Rounds solves that problem to some extent by refilling the magazine from reserves when it gets empty.

Incandescent is still one of the best damage perks in Destiny 2, and you can use it to spread scorch on enemies.

In the fourth column, Target Lock is a solid alternative for taking down bosses and other elite enemies.

The former can effortlessly improve accuracy and stability, while the latter can get you a damage boost against roaming Guardians who have their Super active.

That said, since Vorpal Weapon is effective only in certain situations, and you can replace it with Target Lock to gain a persistent damage boost.
