Bold Endings is a new heavy-burst stasis Hand Cannon in Destiny 2, introduced in The Final Shape expansion.

It’s a hard-hitting two-round burst primary weapon that isn’t a powerhouse like The Call (also introduced in the Final Shape) but has a few key advantages over it.

Bold Endings is also quite satisfying to use and could be a decent choice for both PvP and PvE activities in Destiny 2. If you want to get the best version of Bold Endings, you have come to the right place.

In this ONE Esports guide, we explain our pick for the Bold Endings god roll in Destiny 2.

PERK TYPEPERK DESCRIPTION
BarrelArrowhead Brake: +6 Recoil, +10 Handling
MagazineTactical Mag: +2 Magazine, +5 Stability, +10 Reload Speed
Trait 1Headstone: Precision final blows spawn a Stasis crystal at the victim’s location.
Trait 2Dragonfly: Precision kills create an elemental damage explosion.
Or,

Desperate Measures: Weapon final blows grant bonus damage. Melee and grenade final blows grant a larger damage bonus that can stack.
Or,

Golden Tricorn: Final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage. While this buff is active, grenade or melee kills of the same damage type greatly increase its damage and duration.
MasterworkStability
Origin TraitDealer’s Choice: Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of Super energy. Equipping multiple weapons from the Pale Heart increases this effect.

Since Bold Endings is a heavy-burst weapon, it could do with a bit more handling and recoil, which is why Arrowhead Brake is a good choice for Barrel.

For the Magazine, it’s best to go with Tactical Mag since it can increase reload speed and stability, which are areas where this weapon needs improvement, especially for PvE activities. Additionally, you get +2 Magazine, which isn’t required but is most welcome.

Headstone is one of the best Stasis perks for clearing ads and is particularly effective in Hand Cannons, so you might want to go with that in the third column perk.

However, if you don’t like breaking crystals, you could go with Rapid Hit for better stability and reload speed.

For the fourth column perk, DragonFly is a decent choice as it adds an AOE damage to the weapon, but you can also go with Desperate Measures or Golden Tricorn.

Both can get you weapon damage boost from final blows, but we recommend Golden Tricorn, especially if you are run a complete Stasis build.

Lastly, for Masterwork, you could go with either Stability or Reload Speed, depending on your preference.

Destiny 2 Bold Endings PvP god roll explained

In PvP, I found Bold Endings better than the Call. Sure, the latter has better TTK, but Bold Endings doesn’t use special ammo, which gives it an unprecedented edge in PvP.

I’m a rusted Crucible player, but I managed to get 18 kills in a single match with the Bold Endings god roll that I have put together below.

PERK TYPEPERK DESCRIPTION
BarrelHammer-Forged Rifling: +10 Range
MagazineAccurized Rounds: +10 Range
Trait 1To the Pain: While this weapon is equipped, taking damage increases handling and aim assist until the weapon is stowed.
Trait 2Moving Target: Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.
MasterworkRange
Origin TraitDealer’s Choice: Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of Super energy. Equipping multiple weapons from the Pale Heart increases this effect.

This weapon has a terrible range, so you would want to get Hammer-Forged Rifling and Accurzied Rounds for the Barrel and Magazine to cover some extra distance.

To the Pain is a solid option for the third-column perk, especially if you don’t play aggressively, as it improves handling and aim assist upon taking damage. Rapid Hit isn’t a bad option, either.

Moving Target is an easy pick for the fourth column, as it increases movement speed and target acquisition while aiming down sights, which you are likely to do most of the time.

Lastly, for Masterwork, Range is always the go-to option for any PvP weapon.

That sums up our Destiny 2Bold Endings god roll.
