One of the best exotics you can obtain in Destiny 2 is a double-barrelled shotgun that shreds Titan bubbles with Stasis and Solar pellets.
This ONE Esports guide explains the Destiny 2 Conditional Finality god roll for PvE and PvP content.
Conditional Finality is an exotic raid Shotgun introduced in the Season of Defiance last March. This weapon can trigger all Solar/Stasis subclass effects. And with the right weapon perks, you can achieve tons of both elemental damage and handling.
How to get Conditional Finality in Destiny 2
You can get Conditional Finality exotic by finishing the Root of Nightmares raid and defeating its final boss Nezarec, the Final God of Pain.
Alternatively, you can select the Conditional Finality from a pool of rewards after completing Pantheon challenges for week 3 or 4. But the challenge there lies in getting good stats on your rolls.

Conditional Finality’s synergy with every fragment in your Stasis/Solar subclass puts it on a tier of its own. Whisper of Chains, Ember of Char and more pair extremely well with this gun. And there’s more.
In the case of powerful mobs like Unstoppable Champions, even an average Conditional Finality roll can easily stun them out of their 70% damage resistance. But there are some obvious drawbacks.
For one, Finality only has a two-round magazine (one for each element.) On top of that, it requires you to get fairly close to your target for effective shots, which is offset by its tall, oval spray pattern – a preferable spread when you’re shooting at enemy players.

Conditional Finality was built to proc Solar/Stasis conditions/effects on-hit, making it a standout choice when you’re entering Crucible with gear like Path of Burning Steps which buffs your Solar damage and mitigates Freeze.
You’ll land some one-shots with this shotgun, especially when you trigger Paracausal Bullets which freezes enemies outright. But be wary of Titan players who can break free easily.
In spite of this, more and more shotguns are emerging in the meta. Weapons like the Matador 64 and Fractethyst are seeing plenty of use in the PvP side of Destiny 2.
That said, none so far have matched Conditional Finality’s handling and aggressive frame, making it a must-have in the current meta.
