The Precision-frame Strand Rocket Launcher Crowning Duologue has returned via Destiny 2’s Solstice event.

Like other Solstice weapons this year, Crowning Duologue can now roll with new perk combinations, making it a decent Strand power weapon that could be useful when running a Strand build.

If you’re eager to farm the best version of Crowning Duologue, you’re in the right place. This ONE Esports guide explains the best Crowning Duologuge god roll in Destiny 2 for both PvE and PvP activities.

PERK TYPE PERK NAME & DESCRIPTION
Barrel Volatile Launch: +15 Blast Radius, -5 Velocity, -5 Handling
MagazineAlloy Casing: +30 Reload Speed, -10 Stability
Perk 1Auto-Loading Holster: The holstered weapon is automatically reloaded after a short period of time.
Or,
Reconstruction: This weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity.
Perk 2Bait & Switch: Deal damage with all equipped weapons within a short time to give this weapon a damage boost.
MasterworkReload
Origin TraitDream Work: Once per reload, assists or assisted final blows partially refill the weapon from reserves and increase reload speed for a short duration. Bows receive faster draw time.

Since Precision-frame Rocket Launchers don’t deal as much damage as Aggressive and Adaptive ones, it’s best to use Crowning Dulogue to clear ads instead of bosses.

With that in mind, we recommend going with Volatile Launch for the barrel as it can increase the weapon’s Blast Radius and deal more AOE damage to enemies.

For Magazine, you could go for Black Powder to improve its Blast Radius further. However, the increment would be low, and you would be better off with Alloy Casing, which would give it a significant boost to Reload Speed.

For the third column perk, you could go for either Auto-Loading Holster or Reconstruction, as both can reload the weapon over time. The Latter can get you double the rounds, which makes it a better option.

For the fourth column, Bait & Switch is an excellent choice, as it can give Crowning Duologue a decent damage boost if you first inflict damage from other weapons. The extra damage boost should come in handy when tackling yellow bar or more powerful enemies.

For Masterwork, we recommend Reload Speed, but you could also go with Velocity to make your shots more accurate.

PERK TYPEPERK NAME & DESCRIPTION
Barrel Quick Launch: +10 Velocity, +15 Handling
MagazineHigh-Velocity Rounds: +10 Velocity, +10 Reload
Perk 1Impulse Amplifier: Massively increases projectile velocity, increases reload speed.Or,
Hatchling: Precision final blows or rapidly defeating targets with this weapon spawns a Threadling at the target’s location.
Perk 2Cluster Bomb: Rockets spawn cluster bombs upon detonation.
MasterworkVelocity
Origin TraitDream Work: Once per reload, assists or assisted final blows partially refill the weapon from reserves and increase reload speed for a short duration. Bows receive faster draw time.

While Rocket Launchers aren’t the first choice for Crucible, you could still bring Crowning Duologue and manage some kills.

For Barrel, we recommend Quick Launch since it can boost the weapon’s velocity and handling. This should significantly increase its efficiency.

For Magazine, High-Velocity Rounds is the best option as it will further boost Crowning Duologue’s velocity and improve its chances of hitting long-distance targets.

For the third column perk, you could go with either Impulse Amplifier or Hatchling. The former will further increase the weapon’s velocity and reload speed. The latter would prove useful only when you hit multiple players simultaneously, as it would spawn a Threadling that goes after other guardians.

For the fourth column perk, Cluster Bomb would be perfect, as your shots will spawn multiple bombs in the blast zone and deal more damage to the players on its radar.

As evident, velocity is the most important perk for Rocket Launchers in PvP, so we recommend that stat for Masterwork instead of reload speed.

That sums up our Crowning Duologue god roll in Destiny 2.
