Destiny 2 Into the Light has brought a bunch of new and pre-Beyond Light-era weapons to the game.
One of them is the Edge Transit god roll in Destiny 2. The Edge Transit grenade launcher is one of the new additions to the Brave arsenal.
The weapon is an adaptive frame GL that can deal enormous damage, especially when rolled with perks like Bait and Switch.
In this ONE Esports guide, we explain our pick for the Edge Transit god roll in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 Edge Transit god roll explained
Since GLs are mostly preferred for PvE activities, our Edge Transit god roll is PvE-centric.
PERK TYPE | PERK NAME & DESCRIPTION |
Barrel | Quick Launch: This weapon’s barrel provides faster projectiles and much faster aiming. Greatly increases handling speed. Increases projectile speed. |
Magazine | Spike Grenades: Grenades fired from this weapon do increased damage on direct hits. Increases stability. |
Trait 1 | Envious Assassin: Defeating targets with other weapons before drawing this one transfers ammo to the magazine from reserves. This effect can overflow the magazine based on the number of targets defeated. |
Trait 2 | Bait and Switch: Deal damage with all equipped weapons within a short time to give this weapon a damage boost. |
Masterwork | Handling |
Origin Trait | Indomitability: Final blows grant grenade energy when playing a Light subclass or melee energy when playing a Darkness subclass. |
Envious Assassin is always an easy choice for GLs, as they let you fire more rounds before reloading.
Moreover, with Bait and Switch, you get a significant damage buff, so not only do you have more rounds to spare, but you also deal more damage.
As for the magazine, we recommend Spike Grenades, as it allows your weapon to do increased damage on direct hits. Furthermore, it increases the stability of your GL, which is always a good thing.
For the barrel, we recommend Quick Launch for the increased handling and projectile speed bonus it offers.
These are both essential to increase the effectiveness of your GL, and we can’t recommend them enough, especially if you plan on tackling endgame content with this heavy weapon.
That concludes our Destiny 2 Edge Transit god roll guide.
