Destiny 2 Episode Revenant has brought in a powerful new Stasis hand cannon called Exuviae. It’s a versatile, aggressive frame hand cannon suited for PvP and PvE activities.

Like Liturgy, Exuviae works well with Stasis and Prismatic builds and can take advantage of Revenant’s artifact perks. Hence, if you want to get the best version of this weapon as soon as possible, you’re in the right place.

Like other aggressive-frame hand cannons, Exuviae has decent range, so the next perks that need improving are handling, stability, and reload speed (in that order). As such, for Barrel, Fluted Barrel is a great pick as it significantly increases handling and improves stability of the weapon.
For Magazine, Flared Magwell is an easy pick, as it will further increase stability and reload speed of the weapon. Exuviae’s reload speed is surprisingly bad, and it could make things frustrating in PvE, so Flared Magwell is quite handy.
For the third column trait, we recommend Rimstealer, the new Stasis perk introduced in Episode Revenant. Rimstealer can grant you Frost Armor and massively increase your survivability, making it a must-have perk for any challenging or endgame activity.
Exuviae can roll with Headstone in the fourth column. Exploding Stasis Crystals may not deal as much damage as they used to, but they can still clear ads easily, and in PvE, that’s more important than anything else.
Lastly, for Masterwork, handling is a better pick than range, since the latter is already pretty good.

Exuvia is a solid PvP weapon, granted you deal precision shots. Its exceptionally high range makes it easy to pick targets from a distance.
While there’s no Stasis synergy here, Exuvia can roll with perks that further enhance its main stats and make it more effective in PvP.
For Barrel and Magazine, Small Barrel and Accurized Rounds, respectively, are great picks, thanks to the boost they provide to Range and Stability.
For the third column trait, Keep Away is a perfect choice since it increases range, reload speed and stability, all relevant PvP stats. Thanks to Exuviae’s impeccable range, you won’t ever have to get in the enemy’s face and trigger Keep Away’s buffs easily.
For the fourth column trait, Precision Instrument is great since it can boost precision damage from dealing sustained damage. Since precision damage is all you need to worry about in PvP, this perk can prove quite beneficial.
For Masterwork, you could go with Stability or Range, though we recommend the former since it’s still relatively low compared to the latter.
