The Guardians are finally ready to end the Light and Darkness Saga by defeating The Witness as Destiny 2‘s The Final Shape expansion is finally out.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape DLC adds eight new story missions to the game.
Each is lengthy and full of sub-segments that can take hours to complete. That being said, here’s the complete list of Destiny 2 Final Shape missions:
- Mission 1: Transmigration
- Mission 2: Temptation
- Mission 3: Exegesis
- Mission 4: Requiem
- Mission 5: Ascent
- Mission 6: Dissent
- Mission 7: Iconoclasm
- Mission 8: Locked behind the Salvation’s Edge Raid
The first mission in The Final Shape DLC is called Transmigration. Guided by Queen Mara Sov, you head inside the Traveler and eventually to the outskirts of The Lost City.

When does the Salvation’s Edge Raid start in Destiny 2?
The Salvation’s Edge Raid commences on June 7, 2024. In the first 48 hours, you will have access to the Contest mode and then to the Normal mode.
How to unlock the Salvation’s Edge Raid?
To unlock the Salvation’s Edge Raid in Destiny 2, players must complete the following pre-requisites:
- Finish The Final Shape campaign (Mission 1-7)
- Complete the post-campaign quest, “Wild Card”
Once done, players will have access to Destiny 2 Salvation’s Edge Raid, which they can clear to unlock Mission 8, which concludes the Light and Darkness saga in the game.
