The Fortunate Star is a new Void Lightweight Frame Bow in Destiny 2, introduced in Solstice 2024 event.

If you want the most powerful version of Fortunate Star,  you’re in the right place. This ONE Esports guide explains the Destiny 2 Fortunate Star god roll.

Like Something New and Crowning Duologue, Fortunate Star can drop with some excellent perk combinations that make it worth farming for PvP and PvE activities.

PERK TYPEPERK NAME & DESCRIPTION
BowstringPolymer String: +5 Accuracy, -36 Draw Speed
ArrowCompact Arrow Shaft: +10 Reload Speed, +10 Handling
Perk 1Successful Warm-Up: Each final blow increases charge draw speed.
Perk 2Kill Clip: Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.
MasterworkDraw Time
Origin TraitVeist Stinger: Damaging an enemy with this weapon has a small chance to reload the magazine and increase movement speed while aiming down sights. Bows receive faster draw speed.

Lightweight Frame bows have better draw time than Precision bows, but it’s still worth improving that stat, which is why we recommend Polymer String for the Bowstring.

For the Arrow, you can go with Compact Arrow Shaft for the extra Reload Speed and Handling.

For the third and fourth-column perks, we highly recommend Successful Warm-Up and Kill Clip. It’s the best perk combination for this weapon, and it should let you one-shot most red-bar enemies in challenging activities like legendary lost sectors.

Lastly, for Masterwork, we recommend Drawtime to improve this weapon’s efficiency further.

Origin TraitVeist Stinger: Damaging an enemy with this weapon has a small chance to reload the magazine and increase movement speed while aiming down sights. Bows receive faster draw speed.

Bows in PvP aren’t as effective anymore as they used to be after the Final Shape weapon-balancing update. However, if you get the aforementioned perk combinations, this weapon could still be useful in certain scenarios.

For the Bowstring, Polymer String is still the best option, thanks to the excellent Draw Time reduction and Accuracy increment.

For the Arrow, we recommend Fiberglass Arrow Shaft to improve Accuracy, but at the cost of Stability, though it shouldn’t make much difference.

For the third and fourth-column perks, Hip-Fire Grip and Disruption Breaks are the best options if you use the bow to break the enemy shield and switch to a Kinetic weapon to finish them off.

Lastly, for the Masterwork, you could go no wrong with Draw Time.

That sums up our Destiny 2 Fortunate Star god roll.
