Noxious Vetiver is easily the best weapon Bungie has added in Revenant Act 2, and this ONE Esports guide explains the best Destiny 2 Noxious Vetiver god roll for PvE and PvP.
Destiny 2 Noxious Vetiver god roll guide
Goodbye Ikelos 1.3, hello Noxious Vetiver. The new Precision Frame Arc SMG in Destiny 2 Revenant Act 2 can drop with some incredibly powerful perk combinations, like the new Jolting Feedback perk in the fourth column.
Destiny 2 Noxious Vetiver PvE god roll explained
Noxious Vetiver is an excellent PvE weapon that can clear mobs instantly with the right perk combinations and deal tremendous damage to the elite and bosses.
PERK TYPE | PERK NAME & DESCRIPTION |
Barrel | Fluted Barrel: +5 Stability, +15 Handling |
Magazine | Tactical Mag: +1 Magazine, +10 Reload Speed, +5 Stability |
Trait 1 | Attrition Orbs: Dealing sustained damage creates an orb of power. or, Unrelenting: Rapidly defeating targets triggers health regeneration. Guardians and powerful combatants count as more than one kill. or, Loose Change: Applying an elemental debuff to a target increases this weapon’s reload speed, aim assist, and movement while aiming down sights for a short duration. |
Trait 2 | Jolting Feedback: Dealing repeated damage with this weapon inflicts Jolt. While amplified, Jolt is applied faster. or, Desperate Measures: Weapon final blows grant bonus damage. Melee and grenade final blows grant a larger damage bonus that can stack. |
Masterwork | Reload Speed |
Origin Trait | Dark Ether Reaper: Final blows with this weapon periodically spawn Dark Ether charges.Charges can be detonated early with weapons fire or by coming into contact with them. Doing so refills this weapon from reserves. |
The default Handling of Noxious Vetiver is pretty low, which is why I recommend Fluted Barrel in the first column. It will make it easier to swap and aim this weapon.
Tactical Magazine makes plenty of essential improvements to the weapon, but better reload speed is arguably its best offering.
In the third column, Attrition Orbs, Loose Change, and Unrelenting are all great options. Loose Change synergizes well with Jolting Feedback and improves this weapon’s effectiveness.
I prefer Unrelenting wherever it’s possible, and if you’re a solo player, this is a great perk for improving survivability.
Jolting Feedback makes it easy to spawn Orbs via Attrition Orbs, so if you have equipped Orbs of Power mods, this is a decent pick.
In the fourth column, Jolting Feedback is an easy pick. It works like Voltshot but is far simpler to trigger.
Desperate Measures is not flashy but similarly powerful, so you can go no wrong there.
Destiny 2 Noxious Vetiver PvP god roll explained
Noxious Vetiver has a few PvP-centric perk combinations that are worth grinding for.
PERK TYPE | PERK NAME & DESCRIPTION |
Barrel | Corkscrew Rifling: +5 Stability, +5 Range, +5 Handling |
Magazine | Accurized Rounds: +10 Range |
Trait 1 | Unrelenting: Rapidly defeating targets triggers health regeneration. Guardians and powerful combatants count as more than one kill. |
Trait 2 | Target Lock: Damage increases the longer this weapon stays on a target. |
Masterwork | Range |
Origin Trait | Dark Ether Reaper: Final blows with this weapon periodically spawn Dark Ether charges.Charges can be detonated early with weapons fire or by coming into contact with them. Doing so refills this weapon from reserves. |
Barrel, Magazine, and Masterwork are quite self-explanatory with a focus on improving Range.
In the third column, Unrelenting is yet again a great pick since it can save you from getting bombarded by other players.
In the fourth column, go with Target Lock, as it boosts damage over time, which should improve the time to kill.
