Destiny 2 Episode Revenant adds the first new dungeon of year 7, Vesper’s Host.

When is Destiny 2 Vespers Host dungeon release date?
Destiny 2 Vesper’s Host dungeon will be released on October 11, 2024, three days after the launch of Episode Revenant.
Please note that the contest mode will be active for the first 48 hours, during which you can expect to face more aggressive enemies and intricate mechanics throughout the dungeon.
Vesper’s Host normal mode will be available as soon as the first three fireteams have completed the dungeon.
As of this writing, Bungie have not revealed what Vesper’s Host dungeon will be about, but since Episode Revenant will feature Fallen enemies, it could be a Fallen or Eliksni-themed dungeon.
Thankfully, you won’t have to wait much longer to get more info on Vesper’s Host, as Bungie will host an Episode Revenant livestream on October 1.
What to expect from Destiny 2 Vespers Host dungeon?
While the dungeon’s theme is unknown as of this writing, you should at least expect it to be one of the most challenging Destiny dungeons of all time.
Bungie have consistently talked about increasing the challenge in Destiny 2, and dungeons have always been some of the toughest endgame activities in the game that require proper build and coordination between fireteam members.
But with Vesper’s Host being the first dungeon to have a contest mode, it seems Bungie have gone the extra mile and made this new dungeon more challenging than any other dungeon in the game.
That said, if you manage to clear Vesper’s Host within the first 48 hours, you will get a special emblem and the dungeon exotic weapon (guaranteed drop), among other rewards.
