Dragon Age Veilguard will be released on October 31, 2024, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. You can pre-order the game’s standard, deluxe, and Rooks coffer collector’s edition (Gamestop exclusive) on your preferred platforms.

The newest entry in the series takes place ten years after the events of Dragon Age Inquisition. You play as Rook, a custom-created character who must band together with seven compelling companions to fight against corrupt Elven gods.

While the shift to action-focused gameplay may suggest otherwise, Veilguard is still a full-fledged Bioware RPG with branching dialogue options and steamy romance.

“We wanted to give you the choice to really express yourself, and do that in a world full of adventure and danger,” said the game’s creative director John Epler in a press release after the launch of the release date trailer.

They continued, “So whether you’re a Warrior, Rogue, or a Mage, we can’t wait for you to gear up, gather your party, and set out for another thrilling adventure through Thedas this Halloween.”
