The Wasteland is getting its own Battle Royale mode for Fallout 76.

Announced at Bethesda’s E3 event, the new 52-player battle royale mode sees the last one standing becoming the Overseer of Vault 51. Nuclear Winter will feature 4-player squads, roaming NPC beasts that will attack you, perk cards, camp B.U.I.L.D.S., S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perks, and of course, nukes.

The storm mechanic, in particular, looks pretty cool as well, with a ring of fire that forces players to seek refuge in safe zones. Check out the trailer below.

The new game mode will also include a new progression system called the Overseer Rank which helps players unlock new perk cards, new power armor skins, and more experience for player’s adventure mode character.

Fallout 76’s Nuclear Winter is available tomorrow and will be free for players who already own the game. A free trial week is also taking place on June 10-17.
