Wondering how to farm Burning Aether in Diablo 4? Season 5 has brought an excellent new rogue-lite endgame activity called Infernal Hordes, which is playable in both the seasonal and eternal realms.
Currently, Infernal Hordes‘ spoils of hell is one of the best ways to farm new legendary and unique items in Diablo 4. To open these loot boxes, you will need Burning Aether in abundance.
This ONE Esports guide explains how to farm Burning Aether in Diablo 4.
Best ways to farm Burning Aether in Diablo 4
Diablo 4 Burning Aether farm methods
You can farm Burning Aether in Diablo 4 by killing Aether enemies in the Infernal Hordes activity. Aether Fiends and Aether Lords will spawn in every wave, and you will get an audio cue every time they appear on the battlefield.
However, the best way to farm Burning Aether in Diablo 4 is by activating appropriate Infernal Offers after completing each wave. These are boons and banes that make each wave unique in Infernal Hordes.
For instance, One particular Infernal Offer can spawn 1-3 Aether at the end of each wave, whereas another can increase Aether drop rates from Aether Lords.
These Infernal Offers stack up, so choosing the right ones will significantly increase the number of Burning Aethers you can farm in each subsequent wave.
You can farm at least 100 Aether (if not more) by the time you finish the final wave, so you should have enough to open spoils of hell several times.
Once you have finished all the waves and defeated Fell Priest bosses, you can open three different Spoils of Hell chests multiple times. These offer gold, materials, and equipment. Each material and equipment Spoils of Hell costs 20 Burning Aether, so pick wisely.
