The God of War Ragnarok release date for PC is nearly here, so we’ll share that and all of the God of War Ragnarok system requirements.

God of War Ragnarok has been one of the most anticipated games for PC gamers after the release of the first Norse saga game in 2022. Almost after two year, this dream is about to be become a reality.

PlayStation started porting their first-party games to PC in 2020 and has been going steady with other popular releases. Some of them are The Last of Us Part 1, Horizon Zero franchise, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

All these games were released for the PC platform almost many years later. However, Sony has sped up the release window recently and PC gamers will get to try God of War Ragnarok this September 2024.

When is the God of War Ragnarok release date?

God of War Ragnarok will be coming on PC on September 19, 2024. The port development will be done by Jetpack Interactive who have earlier worked on the previous iteration.

PC gamers will be able to purchase or pre-purchase GoW Ragnarok via Steam and Epic Games Store. Though, this time around players will require a PlayStation Network account to play the sequel.

The PC version of God of War Ragnarok will also ship with the Valhalla DLC, which is an epilogue to the main story of the game.

Additionally, the God of War Ragnarok PC port will arrive with benefits like support for 4K resolution, unlocked framerates, GPU upscaling, 21:9 ultra-wide, and 32:9 ultra-wide screens. All of these things are exclusive to PC players only.

God of War Ragnarok will be demanding in terms of storage and will require approximately 190 GB of free space on an SSD. It is unknown whether the game can be played without hassle on an HDD.

Furthermore, the game is only playable on Windows OS and supported Linux-based builds. So, players maybe able to play the game on Steam Deck or other handheld devices as well.

It should be noted that system requirements mentioned have been prescribed by Sony, and have not been tested yet. It might be possible that the expected performance might outperform or underperform.
