Path of Exile 2 is an ARPG similar to Diablo 4, which means you will consistently be bombarded with loot drops from killing enemies.
Unfortunately, the way loot’s displayed in PoE 2 early access sometimes makes it hard to distinguish between higher-tier loot and lower-tier ones.

How to install a loot filter in Path of Exile 2
Before you can install a loot filter, you have to download it from a third-party website. We recommend using NeverSink’s loot filter, which has the best customization options available.
Once you have downloaded the loot filter from NeverSink’s GitHub page, copy the NeverSinks filter file and follow the steps below to install the loot filter:
- Go to This PC and select the appropriate Local Disc Drive.
- Head to the Documents folder and select My Games, followed by Path of Exile 2.
- Paste the NeverSinks filter file into this folder.
And that’s pretty much it! Now, when you boot up Path of Exile 2, head to the Options and select the Game tab. Here, you will find the option to enable the NeverSinks item filter.
You can also download and paste Pecham’s loot filter, but the rest of the steps remain the same.
