To claim the new Lapras EX cards, you’ll need to beat the new limited-time Solo Battle events and get lucky with the Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1.

Just like the solo step-up battles, the Lapras EX drop event also features four difficulty levels which is progressively unlocked by beating the previous level. Beating any one of these four levels will grant players a chance to receive a special Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1.

The chance to get a Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1 increases depending on the difficulty of the event solo battle. The odds to win the Promo Pack is as follows:

  • Beginner – 51% chance
  • Intermediate – 64% chance
  • Advanced – 80% chance
  • Expert – 100% chance

With these odds in mind, the Expert level is the ideal level to farm if you want a guaranteed chance at an event pack every single time.

Given the event’s exclusive focus on water decks, bringing an electric deck is the optimal strategy to capitalize on the type advantage bonus. Alternatively, any deck that is neutral (not fire) can also work.

Keep in mind that beating a solo event battle will consume event stamina, which recharges over time upon use. Players can store up to five event stamina which they can use at any time during the event period.

Losing a solo event battle does not consume event stamina so feel free to repeat any of the solo event battles until you win!
