If you started in the beginner’s zone, the Plateau of Beginnings, here are some tips on how to farm leather in the early game.
Firstly, the most common Pals you will encounter early game that drop leather are:

- Direhowls (these typically roam at night in starting zones)
Early to mid-game zones with lots of leather dropping Pals
Pals that drop leather early in the game usually hang around the Grassy Behemoth Hills, so be sure to check back there often to farm them.
