Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a massive open world RPG full of beautiful vistas to behold and quests to complete. Naturally, traveling back and forth between regions can become tedious after some time, which is why the game has a fast-travel option.
However, traveling between various regions isn’t as simple as going to the map and clicking on the region you want to travel to. As such, in this guide, we explain how to fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

How to fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth — how goes it work?
You can fast travel between regions by visiting the Chocobo ranch of that area. Talk to the NPC there, and you should get the option to travel to the regions you have previously explored.
For instance, to unlock fast travel in Grasslands, you must talk to Billy at the Chocobo ranch. However, before you gain access, you must complete a quest involving capturing a Chocobo named Piko.
Likewise, in every area, seek Chocobo Ranch and talk to the NPC there to initiate cross-region fast travel in FF7 Rebirth. Do note that each trip will cost you 300 Gil.
On the other hand, to fast-travel within a region in FF7 Rebirth, simply open up the game map and select the POI you want to travel to. As always, you must have previously discovered this place to initiate travel. You can also fast-travel to repaired Chocobo stops and activated remnawave towers.
There are also other ways to initiate travel between particular regions of the map. For instance, to open up fast travel between Junon and Grasslands in FF7 Rebirth, you must complete a side quest called “Stuck in a Rut.” Other regions have their own fast-travel side quests that you must complete to open inter-regional traveling between those areas.
And that’s pretty much it! That’s sums up how to fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
