Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s open world is brimming with picturesque landscapes and deadly encounters. As such, taking a stroll through the gorgeous countryside of 15th-century Bohemia can be both a beautiful and an ugly affair.
How to get a horse in KCD 2 quickly and easily
To speed up exploration, you may want to get a horse, though it’s not easy to obtain one, especially early on in the game.
As such, this ONE Esports guide explains the best ways to get a horse quickly in KCD 2.
Best ways to get a horse in KCD 2

The best way to get a horse quickly and for free in KCD 2 is by going to Semine and talking to the stable master there.
If you haven’t discovered the place yet, Semine is located southwest of Troskowitz.
The stable master is on the backside of the house. You can’t miss him as he is standing next to the horses.
You may notice that one of the horses in Semine is none other than Henry’s old boy Pebbles, who was lost after the ambush at Rockwater Pond.
However, the stable guy will not give you Pebbles for free unless you can convince him he was stolen during the ambush.

Another way to get a horse quickly is by stealing one and registering them at a horse handler. There is Mikolai in the Nomad’s Camp in the Trosky region, whereas there is Stoia in Kuttenberg.
Registering a stolen horse will make them yours, though it won’t come off cheap. Hence, if you are still in the early hours of KCD 2, we recommend going to Semine instead.
If you still want to commit grand theft horse, we recommend heading to Troskowitz at night and stealing one from Jakesh’s farm. You can easily avoid any patrolling guards by jumping off the fence from the south direction.
Jakesh is a bitter old man, so you shouldn’t have to feel guilty for stealing from him.

You can also find horses in the open world. Just make sure their owner is nowhere in sight before stealing them, or you will get a massive bounty on your head.
You can also get a free horse by proceeding through the main story. Once you have completed the ‘For Whom the Bells Tolls’ quest in Trosky Castle, Lord von Bergow will reward you with a horse named Herring.
If you already have Pebbles, you can choose to get a tack instead of a horse.
These are the best ways to get a horse in KCD 2.
