If you wish to fight other players in Diablo 4, you will need to get Bloodmarked. But how can you do that?
Diablo 4 mainly focuses on PvE battles, in which you have to fight AI-controlled enemies instead of real-life players. However, you can also engage in PvP battles through a simple method.
In this ONE Esports guide, we’ll let you know how to get Bloodmarked in Diablo 4 so you can engage in PvP battles and complete challenges.
How to get Bloodmarked in Diablo 4
While you can team up with other players to fight against monsters, there wasn’t initially any way to fight each other. At least, that was the case when the game was first launched.
Later on, Blizzard added a feature that allowed players to engage in PvP battles after activating the Bloodmark effect.
To get Bloodmarked in Diablo 4, you first need to visit a Field of Hatred. This is a PvP zone, and there are currently two of them in the game.
The first one can be found in the Dry Steppes region, while the other one is located in the Kehjistan region.
It isn’t difficult to find the Fields of Hatred, as they are represented by a red hue on the map.
Before you visit the Fields of Hatred, go to your Emote Customization menu and add the Mark for Blood emote to one of the free slots.
Now, enter the field, open your emote wheel, and select the Mark for Blood emote. Once done, you will be Bloodmarked.
From this point onward, all players in the region will be able to attack you. So, you will need to stay alert at all times.
How to remove Bloodmark in Diablo 4
After you’re done having fun with PvP battles or have completed a specific challenge, you can visit the nearest city within the PvP zone and use the Altar of Cleansing to remove the Bloodmark.
This was everything you needed to know about how to get Bloodmarked in Diablo 4.
