Destiny 2 Echoes episode has brought new seasonal quests, a three-player arena activity called Breach Executable, and plenty of weapons and armor sets, among other things.
One of the best ways to get these new episodic weapons and armor, especially high-stats god rolls is by opening Destiny 2 Echo Engrams. In this ONE Esports guide, we explain how to get Echo Engrams in Destiny 2.
Best ways to farm Echo Engrams in Destiny 2
One of the best ways to farm Echo Engrams is by running the Breach Executable activity. It’s the new episodic activity with the highest chance of dropping Echo Engram when you loot the final chest.
Additionally, every time you deposit extracted data in this activity, you can gain up to +20 Failsafe Reputation. Completing Daily Bounties for Failsafe can also get you +25 Failsafe Reputation.
Running Breach Executable is also the quickest way to gain Failsafe vendor reputation, whose rank rewards include Echo Engrams.
The new 200-tier premium Season Pass can also get you up to 29 Echo Engrams. However, this would take quite a bit of time to grind, and running Breach Executable remains the most efficient farming method for Echo Engrams.
Since Destiny 2 Echo Engrams are hard to obtain, we recommend spending them carefully. You can open a single Echo Engram to get random rolls of any episodic weapon, but it’s best to save those for focus rolls.
For instance, Lost Signal is one of the best new Grenade Launchers in the game, and you’re better off focus rolling this weapon for its red border versions instead of putting it all on the line only to get the hundredth copy of Sightine Survey Hand Cannon.
These are some of the best ways to farm Echo Engrams in Destiny 2.
