Destiny’s 10th-anniversary celebration is well underway and there are plenty of free rewards to unlock, such as the Legendary Veteran armor set and the Legend title. The latter is tied to the formal and can take a while to complete.

How to earn the Legend title in Destiny 2
You can get the Legend title in Destiny 2 by completing seven Triumphs.

| Cayde’s Stashes | Find all five Cayde’s stashes in the Tower within the Pale Heart. |
| Timelost | Complete 4 Timeline Missions. Bonus progress for fireteams of 2 or more. |
| Accidental Generosity | Defeat combatants and loot engrams in Skywatch on Cosmodrome, while wearing the full set of Veteran Legend Armor or Ornaments. |
| Justiciar | Achieve the Justiciar Guardian Rank |
| Special Delivery | Claim a set of Veteran Legend Armor Ornaments at the Special Deliveries Terminal in the Tower. |
| Among Friends | Complete Vanguard Ops Playlist activities, Crucible matches, or rounds of Gambit while wearing the full set of Veteran Legend Armor or Ornaments. |
| Disappointment | Decrypt engrams at the Cryptarch. Focused Decoding does not count as Decryption. |
You have to complete Cayde’s Stashes Triumph to unlock other Triumph objectives. Once you have done that, you will be free to complete other objectives in any order.
Most of these objectives are pretty self-explanatory and are easy to complete. Timeline Missions are campaign missions which you can access from the Timeline section of the Director.
To complete the Justiciar Triumph, you have to reach Guardian Rank 8. It could take a while to complete, especially if you have been skimping out on Guardian Rank objectives.
