You can get Silk by killing enemies or opening chests. If you have Will, you can also purchase it from the store.

However, it is important to keep in mind that Silk is not a common item, so you’ll rarely find it in chests or loot it from enemies.

During the early parts of the game, you’ll mostly come across Yarn, which is a common material used to upgrade armor. Later on, you’ll need plenty of Silk for upgrades.

You’ll find the most Silk in Chapter 2, as most enemies you’ll encounter will drop this item. Be sure to defeat every monster you come across to maximize your Silk gains.

Because of this, Chapter 2 is also considered the best Silk farming spot in Black Myth Wukong. Even the later chapters won’t give as much Silk as you’ll find in the second chapter.

Another way to get Silk is by purchasing it from the Keeper’s Shrine store. The merchant there will sell it to you for 600 Will, but you can only purchase two Silk from the store.

How to use Silk in Black Myth Wukong

Now that you know how to get Silk, it’s time to learn what you should do with it.

For starters, you can just sell it to the merchant for some extra Will. However, since Will can be earned easily and Silk is rare, we’d highly advise against selling it.

Instead, just keep it stored in your inventory and use it to craft a new armor whenever you unlock it. Or, you can use it to improve your existing armor. Both tasks can be done at the Shrine.
