Which pickaxe do you need for Startrace Ore in Once Human?
As Startrace Ore isn’t a common resource, you can’t mine it using a regular pickaxe.
Instead, you need to open Memetics Cradle, unlock Tungsten Alloy Pickaxes, and use the Supplies Workbench to create a Tungsten Alloy Pickaxe.
Once done, you can mine Startrace Ore easily. If you try to use the regular pickaxe, you’ll get the ‘Requires a more advanced Gathering tool’ message after you hit the stone.
Startrace Ore uses in Once Human
Once you’ve obtained Startrace Ore, you can craft Stardust Source. This has many uses, such as increasing the strength of your weapons.
For this, you need to unlock the Oil Processing specialization first. Then, you can use the Electric Furnace to craft Stardust Source using 50 Startrace Ore and 15 Portable Mixed Fuel.
