How to get Umbrous Aspect in Diablo 4
At the moment, Umbrous Aspect can only be obtained by completing certain activities, like Dungeons, as it can be picked up from a Legendary item.
Previously, in Season 1, you could get it by completing the chapter four challenges. However, right now, there is no specific way to get it.
On top of that, there isn’t a specific Dungeon or activity that will grant you this item. Instead, you’ll need to keep completing activities that offer Legendary items as a reward and hope that you find Umbrous Aspect on one of them.
The activities you can complete include World Events, World Bosses, and Helltides. Dungeons are also a great way to obtain Legendary items.
However, do keep in mind that you should complete Nightmare Dungeons instead of regular ones, as they offer better rewards. Sure, completing them can be challenging, but you’ll need to power through them if you wish to get the Umbrous Aspect in Diablo 4.
If you have plenty of Murmuring Obols in your inventory, then you can also try your luck at Purveyor of Curiosities. There, you need to bet on Pants, which will cost you 40 Murmuring Obols.
What to do after getting the Umbrous Aspect?
Once you have managed to get your hands on the Umbrous Aspect, you can attach it to shields, helmets, chest armor, pants, and amulets. Keep in mind that once you’ve attached it to a piece of gear, it can not be removed.
With the Aspect on your gear, each critical strike will have a 45 to 60% chance of granting you a free Dark Shroud shadow.
This Dark Shroud will wrap around your character and act as armor, thanks to which you will take less damage from incoming attacks.
