How to unlock the Hooded One in Path of Exile 2
The Hooded One is a key NPC who allows you to reset your passive skill tree. You’ll encounter him as you progress through the first hour of the game’s campaign.
To unlock the Hooded One, you must complete the Mysterious Shade questline from Una. To do this, you’ll need to finish the following objectives:
- Finish the Quest Secrets in the Dark
- Summon and Talk to Una to Clear the Roots
- Continue Through the Grim Tangle
- Find the Count’s Grave Past the Memorial Gate
- Bring Count Lachlann’s Ring to Una
- Witness the Revival of The Hooded One
After defeating the boss, Lachlann of Endless Lament, you’ll acquire Count Lachlann’s Ring. Bring the ring to Una at the Clearfell Encampment. After interacting with Una, The hooded One will be revived and will stay in the town.
How to reset Path of Exile 2 passive skill tree
To reset your passive skill tree, start by speaking to the Hooded One and selecting the Refund Passives option in his dialogue menu. This will bring up your passive skill tree and prompt you to choose which passive skill points you wish to refund.
