If you want to obtain the Lighthouse chests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, this comprehensive ONE Esports guide has everything you need.

The Lighthouse is your safe house in the game. Functionally, it’s vaguely similar to Inquisition’s Skyhold, except it’s nestled somewhere in the Fade.

All Dragon Age The Veilguard classes: Which role best fits your combat style?

Like the Skyhold, the Lighthouse is full of mysteries and secrets, which you can unravel throughout the game’s campaign. One of the more prominent mysteries involves finding the location of the two chests in the area.

However, it’s easier said than done. As such, we explain how you can find all the Lighthouse chests.

Solving the Lighthouse statue puzzle

Before you find the hidden chests in the area, you have to solve the Lighthouse statue puzzle. Doing so will unlock the music room, where you can find a portal to take you to some inaccessible areas of the Lighthouse. It’s also where you can find one of the two hidden chests.

There are six statues in the Lighthouse. The trick is to arrange the pair in a way that they are facing each other.

You can find the first pair of statues behind Neve and Bellara’s towers in the Lighthouse. The next pair of statues are located on the floor above the entrance hall.

On the same floor, head right, and you will find a lone statue facing the wall. Look across the area to find another lone statue on the right side of the dining hall, next to Lucanis’ quarter.

Once you have rearranged a pair of statues, a magical wisp will emerge from them. After you’ve rearranged them all, head to the main hall to find a newly unlocked door on the right side. Use it to reach the music room.

Now, the secret portal in the music room won’t appear until you have unlocked all the companions.

Once you have unlocked them all, head back to the music room to find another wisp waiting for you. Approach it, and it will fly towards one of the two platforms in front of the portal door.

The second wisp is on the floor above the main hall between the two statues.

Bring the wisp to the music room to unlock the portal. Using it will take you to an upper floor in the Lighthouse with a second non-active portal. There’s another wisp here down the corridor. Use it to activate the portal and reach the Watch Tower.

You can find the first Lighthouse chest in here. Open it to get a weapon of your class.

Solving the Lighthouse crystal puzzle

There’s a crystal puzzle in here as well, and solving it will open another secret room in the Lighthouse, through which you can reach the second chest.

To solve this puzzle, interact with the beam-casting object and use it to activate three nearby floating crystals. A wisp will emerge from each crystal and fly to the main hall. Head there to find an unlocked door next to the staircase. There’s another portal here.

Using the portal will take you to a room called “The Wolf’s Den.” The second lighthouse chest is here. Open it to receive an armor piece or a weapon of your class.
