However, since the weapon is locked behind a challenge, many new players don’t know how to unlock MP7 in XDefiant.

How to unlock MP7 in XDefiant
In XDefiant, you can unlock the MP7 submachine gun by getting 20 Point Blank kills in multiplayer matches.
The progress is taken across matches, so even if you get a few Point Blank kills in a single match, you can keep grinding and eventually unlock the MP7.
That said, you can check the unlock criteria for MP7 and other weapons by following the below steps:
- Click on the ‘Challenges’ option in the main menu
- Select the ‘Base’ tab
- Navigate to the weapon you want to unlock. MP7 in our case.
How to get Point Blank kills in XDefiant
You can get Point Blank kills in XDefiant by taking out opponents at close-range gunfights. This doesn’t mean you must be on a melee range with them. You can be a few feet away, and it will still count as a Point Blank kill.
Whenever you take out a player at Point Blank range in XDefiant, you will get the banner confirming it on-screen, similar to other shooter titles like Call of Duty.
