Diablo 4 Season of Witchcraft adds a much-requested game feature – the option to create build loadouts in an armory.
Diablo 4’s armory lets you save different builds for your eternal and seasonal characters, which you can swap anytime for free.
Diablo 4 armory guide
If you’re a hardcore Diablo 4 player eager to try different experimental builds on a single character, you’re in the right place.
This ONE Esports guide explains everything you need to know about Diablo 4’s armory system.
How does the armory work in Diablo 4?
The armory in Diablo 4 allows you to save, name, and load up to five character builds at any time.
Each loadout lets you tweak your character’s equipment, skills, paragon nodes, and glyphs. Furthermore, swapping loadouts with different paragon nodes doesn’t cost Gold.
You can find the armory in every major city and area like The Citadel and Tree of Whispers.
As mentioned above, you can even choose the name for each loadout. For instance, Ball Lightning and Fireball for two distinct Sorcerer builds.
The armory system should be useful, especially when navigating through Diablo 4’s endgame, as you are more likely to acquire build-altering Unique or Legendary items then that compel you to try a completely new build though without tempering your existing one (s).
It’s worth noting that the armory in Diablo 4 is tied to a character, so every time you build a new seasonal character, you will gain five fresh loadout slots.
As of this writing, it’s not clear whether there will be ways to increase the number of build loadouts in the game like the stash storage.
Diablo 4 Season of Witchcraft adds new Witchcraft powers, which opens up new ways to strengthen your builds and play each class.
Additionally, every class has access to every Witchcraft power, and as a result, there is more buildcrafting potential in Diablo 4 than ever before.
The armory serves that idea perfectly well, encouraging you to try various builds and save ones that work for you, thus opening up more ways for you to play Diablo 4.
