The Sundered Doctrine dungeon contest mode will be enabled for the first 48 hours after its launch.

To be eligible in the dungeon contest mode, players will have to maintain a 1995 power level throughout all the encounters.

The completion criteria for the Sundered Doctrine dungeon remains the same as Vesper’s Host. After completing the final encounter, the fireteam must loot the final chest to be eligible for the dungeon race.

Furthermore, at least one fireteam member must have completed and obtained loot for every encounter in that first completion.

Naturally, enemies are more aggressive during the contest mode and feature mechanics such as the one that limits the amount of time players get to complete an encounter.

Unlike Vesper’s Host podium race, Bungie plans to crown a single team as the winner of Sundered Doctrine dungeon contest mode. Each member of the winning team will receive the first-ever Dungeon Race trophy.
