The upcoming action-adventure title from Shift Up, Stellar Blade, has garnered attention from fans worldwide due to its Nier-esque post-apocalyptic world and alluring protagonist, Eve.
With each new subsequent trailer, the game continues to look outstanding, thanks to its photo-realistic visuals and top-notch action.
However, as with any notable second-party and third-party game releases, fans are asking the question: Is Stellar Blade coming to PC?
In this article, we clarify whether the upcoming title is coming to PC or not.
Is Stellar Blade coming to PC? Here’s the answer
No, the game won’t be coming to PC, at least on launch. As of this writing, the game is exclusive to PlayStation5 on April 26, 2024.
Unfortunately, there’s no indication hinting at a future PC release for the game. Typically, PlayStation timed-exclusive titles include a disclaimer at the end of their trailers, indicating their exclusivity period.
For instance, the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launch trailer specifically mentions that the game won’t be available on other platforms until May 29, 2024.
Sadly, in the case of Stellar Blade, there’s no such indication.
It’s also important to point out that, unlike Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, this game is published by Sony Entertainment Interactive, which makes it even less likely to hit PC or other platforms anytime soon.
Nevertheless, there remains a possibility that the game could eventually make its way to PC, considering PlayStation’s trend of bringing their first-party and second-party titles to the platform. But this might take some time to materialize.
