Despite borrowing ideas from some of the genre’s best, the new title looks unique in its own right. However, while it’s too early to comment on Stellar Blade’s scope and size, Shift Up has confirmed what kind of game it is.

Is Stellar Blade open world? Let’s talk about it
No, Stellar Blade isn’t a fully open world game. It features multiple open-ended areas that may or may not be directly connected.

Shift Up has also confirmed a new game plus mode for the game, which will be available post-launch as a free DLC. While there’s no word on what it will offer, it shouldn’t be far-fetched to at least expect more challenging encounters and better gear.
