Liquid Biofuel Satisfactory recipe guide

To unlock Liquid Biofuel in Satisfactory, you need to reach Tier 5 (Alternative Fluid Transport) in The HUB. You also get the Packager which fills/empties the Canisters you’ll need for future projects!

You cannot find Liquid Biofuel in the wild, except for the crash sites scattered throughout the map.

To craft Liquid Biofuel, you need these ingredients: 

• X6 Solid Biofuel
• X3 Water

You’ll need a Refinery to start crafting Liquid Biofuel (and every other liquid product in Satisfactory). You get x4 Liquid Biofuel every time you craft it, which nets about 160 megajoules (MJ) more energy. 

What is Satisfactory Liquid Biofuel used for

Liquid Biofuel Satisfactory is a versatile fuel product that can be used for generators and every automobile in the game.

Motor Vehicles in Satisfactory can consume any fuel source in Satisfactory 1.0 (except Drones, which use batteries). That said, some demand more energy than others. 

Liquid Biofuel/Packaged Liquid Biofuel gives 750 MJ, making them among the best in the game.
