Marvel Rivals is a hero-shooter in the truest sense of the word, and it’s now allowing a larger player base to take Iron Man for a spin. Here’s how you can participate in the Marvel Rivals beta playtest.

In May 2024, NetEase allowed some 30,000 players to get a peak at the Marvel Rivals in a closed alpha program. After a highly exclusive initial testing phase, the developer is now opening the doors to a wider audience, inviting more players to join the beta testing wave and experience the game firsthand.

Unfortunately, signups for the Marvel Rivals closed alpha have shut down. If you missed the July 24 deadline to apply for a Marvel Rivals beta code, here’s what you can do to still get early access.

How to get a Marvel Rivals beta code to play?

Marvel Rivals beta code can be claimed by watching Twitch streams between July 25 and July 28.

On July 25, log in to your Twitch account and visit the Marvel Rivals Twitch page. Browse through the live streams and look for channels where streamers have indicated in their headlines that Marvel Rivals beta code drops are enabled. Watch these streams for at least 60 minutes to receive a beta code.

Alternatively, you can ask a friend for a code. Those who managed to sign up in time for the Marvel Rivals beta code will get the opportunity to invite a friend. But there’s a catch. They must reach level 6 on their account to earn an extra code for their friend.

Both of these methods can help you get into the program and enjoy the game while it’s live.

Marvel Rivals playtest dates

Marvel Rivals closed beta will run from July 23 to August 5 on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

The methods mentioned above to get into the beta work for all platforms.
