Fans of phenomenal K-pop boy group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) will soon be able to take a journey through the Bangtan universe as more details of the upcoming BTS mobile game have come to light.
Mobile game development company Netmarble and South Korean entertainment Big Hit Entertainment has teamed up to produce BTS Universe Story. The former has unveiled an official website which contains a short video featuring the group’s visual Jin (Kim Seokjin).
In the short clip, Jin can be seen interacting with an odd-eyed cat, telling him to find the map of the soul (which was also the title of the group’s EP). Aside from Jin, the website also revealed the look of their second character, BTS’ leader and rapper RM (Kim Namjoon).

BTS Universe Story will be a sandbox-type story game where players will have the freedom to create their own stories and share them with other players using the characters and events from the BTS Universe. This includes scenes from their previous music videos and other official media adapted inside the game.
BTS ARMY will have to wait a bit longer as BTS Universe Story is slated for release around the third quarter later this year.
In the meantime, fans can play the group’s first mobile game BTS World, a role-playing game that lets you take part as the boys’ manager.
