What is SOOP and what does it offer as a live streaming platform?

SOOP, the newest live streaming service to enter the scene, kicked off its global beta on June 5, 2024, offering both web and mobile experiences to users.

In an effort to support its growing streamer base, SOOP is supercharging content creation with strategic partnerships and an attractive monetization promotion. Teaming up with the likes of Riot, the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) League, K-pop contest, and many more entertainment giants to bring streamers a treasure trove of unique and exclusive content.

Attractive monetization program for SOOP streamers

To celebrate its big debut, SOOP is launching a 3-month promotion to support its growing streamer base. Stream for just one hour before August 31, 2024, to unlock Affiliate tier channel monetization.

The revenue program opens doors to two main ways to earn: Gems and subscriptions.

Viewers can purchase Gems in various amounts, with a portion going directly to you. Affiliate streamers earn US$0.60 for every 10 Gems purchased, while Partners get US$0.70.

Subscriptions offer another income stream. Viewers can subscribe for US$3, and after platform fees, Affiliates keep 70% of that fee, while Partners pocket 80%.

To become an Affiliate after the promo ends on Sept 1, 2024, you’ll need to hit five hours streamed, 30 followers, and an average of three viewers over the past month.

For Partner consideration, those requirements jump to 30 hours streamed, 10,000 followers, and a 1,000 viewer average in the last 30 days.
