In addition to G2 Esports, we now have G2 FC.
The global powerhouse esports organization with a strong presence in various competitive gaming titles such as League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, and more, is making its first-ever entry into the world of traditional sports, making a major milestone for the club.
G2 FC will participate in the newly announced Kings League Germany. Specifically, they will compete in the Kings World Cup Qualifiers in Germany ahead of the Kings World Cup in June.
G2 FC to compete in Kings League Germany
The Kings League is a global football competition with established leagues in Spain, the Americas, Brazil, Italy, and France. It is now expanding to Germany.
A 7-a-side global football league, Kings League was founded in 2022 by Gerard Piqué, former professional player for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team in collaboration with other football personalities and streamers.
The launch of Kings League Germany was announced on March 25, 2025 with Bastian Schweinsteiger appointed as President. While six teams were initially revealed, the announcement teased two additional, surprise teams. G2 Esports has now confirmed that they are one of those surprise additions.
On April 12, 2025, Kings League Germany starts with a qualification series for the Kings World Cup. Eight teams compete for two spots to represent Germany in the World Cup in France.
Two Berliner footballers have been appointed by G2 FC to lead the team. Coach Malik Hadziavdic represented Germany on the national futsal stage and played domestically for FC Liria Berlin. With a Sports Management background, Team Manger Ron Stublla also competed in the Youth Bundesliga.
Following recent tryouts at the Adidas Sports Base Berlin, the team will soon reveal its complete roster.

Kings League is livestreamed, and encourages each club to broadcast their games directly to their fans via dedicated co-streams. G2 has partnered with German influencers Reeze and Rumathra, who will co-stream all G2 FC games on Twitch.
