There are plenty of collectibles to find in the Pale Heart destination of Destiny 2. Arguably, one of the most important among them is region chests.
As such, in this ONE Esports guide, we pinpoint the all Pale Heart region chest locations in Destiny 2.
Region chests in Destiny 2
Finding all region chests can get you a ton of Ghost Reputation XP and Lost Encryption bits that are essential to getting the Khvostov auto rifle in the game.
All Pale Heart region chests locations
There are 9 region chests in the Pale Heart destination, with three in each area of the region.
All Landing Zone region chest locations
Region chest location 1
From the Landing Zone spawn point, head north towards the waterfall. There’s a path at the top, which leads to a small facility inside where you can find the chest.
You can reach it by climbing on the small rock platforms, as shown in the screenshot below.

From the waterfall, head northwest, past the stitching chest, and towards the left wing of the gigantic eagle structure. Below it, you can find a small entrance to a cave. Head inside and keep going until you see a path down below. You can find the chest in there.

Go back up and come out from the other side of the cave. Keep going straight past the bridge and towards the lion structure. Once here, go to the rightmost side, towards the cliff’s edge and you will find a path below.
Make your way down and keep going towards the left. The chest is next to the waterfall.
All Blooming region chest locations
Region chest 4 location
From the spawn point, head in the direction of the white light beam of the Excision mission, and you will soon come across a small cave entrance below.
Head inside and keep going until you reach outside. Next, take the first left and climb up the rocks. You will find the next region chest here.
Region chest 5 location
From the spawn point, head right towards the big Taken ball. You will notice a tree’s branches coming out on the left. The chest is on top of this tree.
There is no footing here, so you must land on top of the chest to loot it, or else you will fall down.
Region chest 6 location
From the tree, head northeast, towards that same big Taken ball at the edge of the cliff. You can find the chest tucked away between the walls.
All Impass region chest locations
Region chest 7 location
From the spawn point, head northwest towards the big Taken ball, and take the last left before you reach it.
Keep heading straight, and you will notice a small opening in the wall above on the left. Head inside the cave to find the region chest.
Region chest 8 location
From the spawn point, head backward and look downwards to find a path below the surface. You can easily see the chest here from a distance.
Region chest 9 location
Get back to the surface and head north towards the red-white temple. The region chest is on the top of the temple.
Collecting all region chests will complete the Glided Treasure Triumph, and, as mentioned above, will get you nine Lost Encryption bits. You can get the remaining six from the Cyst missions that are unlocked by completing the Alone in the Dark quest.
