Rayne Syndicate Tower is one of the key locations in Palworld, and serves as the first boss arena where players have to challenge the boss Zoe and Grizzbolt to progress the game.
Apart from the objective of “Challenge the boss at Rayne Syndicate’s Tower. Make sure your Pals and equipment are in top condition,” there are not many details on where players can find the boss and challenge it, let alone defeat it.

Where to find Palworld Rayne Syndicate Tower location
In Palworld, you can find the Rayne Syndicate Tower in the northwest part of the Plateau of Beginning at the following coordinates: 111, -432. Head to the highlighted location, as shared in the above map screenshot, which is close to the starting area. Granted, you didn’t choose to spawn on any other island the first time you died.

Once you arrive at the marked location, you will find the Rayne Syndicate Tower and a teleport waypoint near its entrance. Make sure to activate the waypoint, as you will need it as insurance if you cannot beat the boss on your first attempt.
How to challenge the boss at Rayne Syndicate Tower in Palworld
The process of challenging the boss at Rayne Syndicate Tower is relatively easy, as all you have to do is go to the base of the tower and get close enough to get the prompt “Join Boss Battle,” and that is it.
Interact with the prompt, and you will be teleported to an instanced dungeon where you will fight the boss, Zoe and Grizzbolt.
How to defeat Zoe and Grizzbolt easily in Palworld
Defeating Zoe and Grizzbolt is much easier in Palworld if you know its weaknesses, and the different attacks it does. First of all, Grizzbolt is a Pal whose element is electricity, making it weak to earth-based Pals.
So, we recommend that you capture earth element-based Pals or someone like Daedream, as it also seriously damages the boss. To bring extra Pals to the battle, you must unlock their corresponding “Necklace” from the Technology tree and craft them at the Pal Gear Workbench.
Doing so will allow you to use more than one Pal in the battle against Zoe and Grizzbolt, making the fight much easier. Apart from that, make sure to craft a “Harness” of the chosen Pals, too, to use their “Partner Skill” in battle.
Now, talking about the boss’s attacks, the electric Pal uses the following attacks that you must know about:
- Lightning Claw: Using this attack, Grizzbolt will dash toward you and deal melee damage with his claw.
- Shockwave: An AoE attack that staggers you for two to three seconds.
- Lightning Streak: Shoots 180-degree orbs of electricity.
- Lightning Orbs: In this attack, Grizzbolt fires electric orbs at you.
- Laser Beam: Grizzbolt fires a laser beam at you, dealing electric damage in this attack.
Avoiding the above attacks is easy as long as you maintain distance from the boss. Now, talking about the fight, as soon as you enter the battle, summon your earth element Pals or the Daedream as we recommended.
Run around the arena and try to deal as much damage as possible with your bow and other ranged weapons. Don’t get close to the boss, as it will use the Shockwave attack to stagger you. When the boss jumps high, start dodging as it will unleash a ground smash attack.
The primary strategy here is to use Daedream and other Pals to deal significant damage and use the Partner Skill to increase further the damage done.
To counter the projectile-based attacks, you must hide behind the pillars. You can also circle around the pillars while using Partner Skills, as you can deal damage at close range while avoiding most of Grizzbolt’s attacks.
Will you lose your loot if you die inside Rayne Syndicate Tower during the Zoe and Grizzbolt boss battle?
No! Even if you fail at defeating the boss in the first run, you don’t have to worry about your loot, as you can spawn at your base and use the teleport feature to teleport to the waypoint near the tower and collect your loot and equipment near its entrance.
