Best ways to farm Gold in Path of Exile 2
Clear maps with hordes of mobs found in smaller areas
There are several ways to get Gold in Path of Exile 2 but the easiest way is to simply slay all the enemies you come by. Yes, the smaller enemies or mobs will drop less Gold, so your best bet would be to target the ones with their names in Gold, basically the Bosses in the game.
Here are some of the places you can locate to kill bosses and farm Gold during the early phases of PoE2:
- Clearfell – Beira of the Rotten Pack
- Ogham Manor – Candlemass and Lord Geonor
- Mausoleum of the Praetor – Draven
- Vastiri Outskirts – Rathbreaker
The first three places are a part of Act 1 while Vastiri Outskirts appear during Act 2.
The faster you clear maps, the more Gold you will get. Look for the areas in the maps that are small with several Bosses flocking around – it will make your job way easier.
Sell items to Vendors
The next best way is to sell items to Vendors. This includes consumables, gear, and loot which you won’t need down the line and once you sell them, the Vendor will give you Gold. They are mostly found in Encampments, so they are quite easily noticeable.
Selling items also keeps your inventory clean and organised as having too many useless items could keep you away from the good loot you need to upgrade your gear.
