Fury Warrior playstyle explained
Your primary goal is to maximize the uptime of the Enrage buff. During this buff window, focus on using as many abilities as possible, as it will increase both your damage and haste.
The ability Rampage will automatically Enrage you, while Bloodthirst has a 30% chance to Enrage you with each use.
Hero Talents Explained
You should opt for the Slayer build, as it offers better single-target damage while still delivering solid multitarget damage.
Although the Thane build has the potential to deal more multitarget damage, it isn’t worth the significant loss in single-target damage.
What’s more, the Thane build is focused on sustained multitarget damage, whereas the Slayer build excels in burst damage, allowing you to take down multitarget adds more quickly. In most Mythic Plus scenarios, prolonged add fights are rare, making the Slayer build the preferred choice.
There is a chance that the Thane build might prove useful during Fortified weeks at higher keys where add fights are longer, and it could outperform the Slayer build. However, at the moment, this seems unlikely.
Marked for Execution
With the Slayer build, your attacks and abilities have a high chance of triggering Slayer’s Strike, which deals damage and applies the Marked for Execution debuff.
This debuff increases the damage your next Execute by 15% and can stack up to three times. Additionally, with the Imminent Demise talent, every 3 stacks of Marked for Execution will proc Sudden Death, allowing you to use Execute on any target, regardless of their health.
To maximize your damage, you should only use Execute when you have 3 stacks of Marked for Execution and Sudden Death has procced, while also ensuring you are Enraged. Be cautious, as Marked for Execution stacks can be consumed by any Execute, so timing is critical.
